It's for floor wardens, area wardens and deputy wardens — and anyone responsible for the safety of the people in a building during an emergency.
The course covers all three parts of the job: planning before an emergency, acting during one, and the work that follows. You don't need any experience or an earlier certificate to start.
- What you'll learn
- Find and follow your building's emergency response procedures
- Respond to emergency signals and warnings
- Carry out the safety practices the role calls for
- Manage an emergency situation as it happens
- Help with what needs doing once the emergency is over
