Friable Asbestos Removal (Class A) — NSW
Remove friable asbestosCPCCDE3029 · Statement of AttainmentHands-on training for construction and demolition workers who remove friable asbestos — the crumbly, higher-risk form — under a licensed removalist. You need a current White Card and non-friable (Class B) removal training (CPCCDE3028 or the earlier CPCCDE3014) to take part.
Issued by Training Aid Australia (RTO 91411)

The training you need to work on friable asbestos
You learn to remove friable asbestos safely — asbestos in powder form, or that can be crumbled to powder by hand. It is the more hazardous form, and removing it is licensed work at any quantity.
You might be a construction or demolition worker removing friable asbestos for a licensed removalist, or someone working toward a nominated-supervisor role or a Class A licence of your own.
Class A training is one step toward that licence, not the licence itself. SafeWork NSW issues the licence to the business or self-employed person carrying out the removal — never to each worker on site.
