Becoming the named supervisor on a removal job
You train to plan and oversee licensed asbestos removal, and to run the job to its asbestos removal control plan.
This is the supervisor's course, not the removalist's. It's for site supervisors and leading hands overseeing licensed asbestos removal — and anyone a licensed removalist must nominate as the on-site or readily-available supervisor.

Before you book

What you'll need
A USI. A Unique Student Identifier.
Photo ID. A valid photo ID, shown when you arrive on the day.
On the day, you'll also show your photo ID.
A removal Statement of Attainment. For non-friable (CPCCDE3028) or friable (CPCCDE3029) asbestos removal — either one meets the entry requirement. The earlier versions, CPCCDE3014 and CPCCDE3015, are accepted too.

Every licensed asbestos removal job has to have a named supervisor holding this certification — on friable jobs they are at the removal area the whole time it is being carried out, and on non-friable jobs they have to be readily available to the crew.

Your Statement of Attainment for CPCCDE4009 Supervise asbestos removal is nationally recognised, so it is accepted in every state and territory.
Your Statement of Attainment travels with you. The asbestos removal licence does not — each state and territory's work health and safety regulator issues its own.
