Training for your HSR role
This is the SafeWork NSW-approved five-day course for elected health and safety representatives and their deputies.
Once you complete approved training, you can issue a Provisional Improvement Notice and direct unsafe work to stop when the legal conditions are met.

Before you book
Check your English before booking You'll need enough English to take part. There's no formal language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLND) check for this course — just make sure you're comfortable reading plain English before you book.
What you'll need
Photo ID. Bring original photo ID showing your name, photo and signature. Copies are not accepted.
Pre-course work. Complete the reading and tasks sent with your booking confirmation before you attend.

HSR Training NSW
SafeWork NSW Statement of Attendance — non-accredited. HSR training has no national VET unit, so there is no USI.
Handed to you in hard copy on the day. This one isn't emailed.
Why do this course?
This is the course that switches on an HSR's strongest powers — once you have completed the approved five-day training you can issue a Provisional Improvement Notice and direct unsafe work to stop.

The entrance has one step through a standard-width door. There is no alternative entrance.

There is no customer parking on site. Paid parking is available nearby at Wilson Parking and at Secure Parking in Kings Cross. Limited metered street parking may be available. Always check the signs. Parking availability, hours and fees can change, so check the operator's website before travelling.
