Our online courses are designed for people who require knowledge of silica and its principles. This Silica Awareness Training is suitable for individuals working in construction, demolition, tunnelling, quarrying, stonemasonry, concrete cutting, and other industries where exposure to respirable crystalline silica may occur.

The Silica Awareness Online Course is designed for workers that work with silica such as stone masons, demolishers, and excavation professionals including plant operators, supervisors and managers.

The course provides practical silica training on identifying exposure risks, understanding the health effects of respirable crystalline silica, and following appropriate control measures to reduce workplace exposure.

As this course is online only and practical competencies cannot be assessed via this method, participants will not receive an ASQA accredited certificate.
