Course Information
Provide First Aid HLTAID011 qualification is valid for 3 years.
Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) HLTAID009 is included in the Provide First Aid HLTAID011 training course.
After completing your First Aid training, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to think clearly and make educated decisions whilst waiting for professional medical assistance to arrive. Even if all you have to deal with is a slightly worse than average household cut or a broken bone, knowledge of First Aid will always be a lifelong valuable skill.
HLTAID011 supersedes HLTAID003 Provide First Aid and was previously known as Senior First Aid or First Aid Level 2.

What will you receive
Statement of Attainment with:
Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation HLTAID009 qualification.
Provide Basic Emergency Life Support HLTAID010 qualification.
Provide First Aid HLTAID011 qualification.

What you will learn
Provide First Aid training covers topics such as Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), fractures and dislocations, burns and scalds, head, chest and spinal injuries, fainting and unconsciousness, bandaging techniques, severed limbs, poisoning, bites, stings.
Provide First Aid training consists of PowerPoint presentation, theory and practical class activities and end of the day assessment.

Nationally accepted
Statement of Attainment is nationally recognised all across Australia.
Course requirements

Attendance
Participants should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of the course to complete the necessary registration paperwork.
ENTRY TO THE COURSE WILL BE REFUSED
if participants arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled starting time.

LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital)
It is a requirement that all students must have basic English reading, writing, and understanding skills. Interpreters are not allowed for most courses.
From 1/7/25, all students must complete a basic LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital) test before enrolment. This ensures you can understand the course content and get the right support during training.
All students enrolling in an Edway Training course are required to complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital (LLND) skills assessment as part of their student profile. This ensures they have the necessary skills to perform basic calculations, and to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, enabling them to successfully participate in the training and assessment process.

USI (Unique Student Identifier)
From 1 January 2015, every student who undertakes nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Australia is required to have a USI.
STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT CANNOT BE ISSUED
if a participant fails to produce a valid USI number.
USI can be obtained via www.usi.gov.au

Identification
Participants must provide one form of photo I.D. (e.g. passport, Australian driver’s licence, proof of age card, student card).
STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED
if participants do not provide a valid form of I.D.

Online Pre-Study Module
Participants must complete the online pre-study module. It covers the theoretical part of Provide Advanced First Aid training.
The link to the online pre-study will be provided in an activation account email after booking in the course.
STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED
if a participant does not complete the online pre-study module.
