Edway Training’s online Non-Friable Asbestos Refresher non-accredited course is designed for individuals who have previously completed the nationally accredited CPCCDE3014 or CPCCDE3014A – Remove Non-Friable Asbestos unit and are seeking to refresh their theoretical knowledge in line with industry and legal expectations.
The aim of this refresher course is to meet the guidance outlined in the Victorian Compliance Code for Removing Asbestos in Workplaces, which recommends that refresher training be conducted every two years for persons undertaking Class B (non-friable) asbestos removal work.
Non-Friable Asbestos Refresher
This is a non-accredited online refresher course. It does not qualify participants to remove asbestos unless they have previously obtained a Statement of Attainment for CPCCDE3014/CPCCDE3014A.
Edway Training is accredited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and approved by Austroads and the Department of Transport and Planning Victoria to deliver this skill set.



Non-Friable Asbestos Refresher Information
The course is delivered entirely online and self-paced, allowing learners to complete the material at their convenience. It includes a range of learning materials, such as:

Participants must provide one form of photo I.D. (e.g. passport, Australian driver’s licence, proof of age card, student card).

LLN (Language, Literacy and Numeracy)
It is a requirement that all students must have basic English reading, writing, and understanding skills. Interpreters are not allowed for most courses.
From 1/7/25, all students must complete a basic LLN (Language, Literacy, and Numeracy) test before enrolment. This ensures you can understand the course content and get the right support during training.
