First aid training Melbourne is useful whether you're in the hospitality, security, construction, traffic control or business sectors.
The Goal of First Aid Training
When you sign up for a first aid course Melbourne, you're exposing yourself to qualified medical solutions that will help you handle emergency situations. Medical emergencies happen in every sector, so the goal of learning first aid Melbourne is to equip yourself with enough knowledge to make a difference when the worst occurs. This means you'll be able to think clearly about a situation, and make educated decisions based on what you've learned.
First aid courses Melbourne include teaching you how to respond to basic medical situations. These emergencies can be anything from a concussion and a mild heart attack, to severe loss of blood due to injury. The goal of your training is always be aware about the potential dangers of your position, and how to quickly and efficiently assist when an emergency presents itself. This is particularly important if you work in a high risk job like construction or security.
- Severe Injury/Severed Limbs - Learn who to call, and what to do when a colleague has experienced the loss of a limb thanks to a work place accident.
- Head and Spinal Injuries - When there has been trauma to the brain or nervous system, there are specific actions you can take to prevent further damage. Learn what they are during our first aid course Melbourne.
- Allergic Reactions - How do you help someone breathe when they are suffering from a severe allergic reaction to an insect bite? This is part of our detailed course.
- Burns and Scars - Be taught how to provide relief from a serious burn, and learn about the many ill advised treatments that make the burn worse.
- These are just some of the exciting features in the first aid courses Melbourne that we offer. General topics will also be covered like treatment for fainting or how to stop someone from choking.
